Cervicogenic pain, most commonly experienced as a cervicogenic headache, is a type of pain that originates in the neck but is felt in the head, face, and/or shoulders. Unlike a primary headache, such as a migraine or tension headache, which arises from within the brain, cervicogenic pain is a "secondary headache," meaning it is caused by an underlying issue in the cervical spine (neck) or its associated soft tissues
